Where can I get vaccinated?
Here is information from San Mateo County about resources for getting vaccinated, as of April 15.
Remember, vaccination is not just about reducing risk to yourself, but about reducing risk to those around you. Thank you very much!
Great News! Starting tomorrow, April 15th: Californians age 16 years and older will become eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine throughout the state. For more information on this expanded eligibility, please visit the state’s vaccination distribution plan at: https://covid19.ca.gov/vaccines/
While this expansion is very exciting, please be aware eligibility does not guarantee a vaccination appointment. We strongly recommend patience as you pursue vaccination.
Expanded eligibility will create significant demand on local vaccine supply. We continue to have extremely limited vaccine, and as a result have not been able to host large scale vaccination opportunities. We look forward to relaunching our mass vaccination site at the San Mateo Event Center as supplies allow, and will reach out to you when those opportunities are planned using the contact information you entered when signing up for our notification tool.
Aside from mass vaccination events, there are multiple ways to schedule a vaccine appointment in San Mateo County. As the majority of vaccine in San Mateo County is routed to healthcare organizations and pharmacies, we recommend first connecting with your healthcare provider and/or pharmacy. Due to the large number of newly eligible people, appointments might not immediately be available, but updates are frequent and more vaccine comes regularly.
Anyone who is eligible and interested in getting vaccinated should contact their primary care provider and/or pharmacy to understand how they will be providing the vaccine.

Several CVS, Rite Aid, Safeway, Walgreens , Costco and Lucky Pharmacies offer vaccine appointments through their websites. We anticipate the number of appointments and locations will expand in the coming weeks as vaccine supply allows.

The FEMA vaccination sites at Moscone Center in San Francisco and the Coliseum in Oakland offer vaccine appointment through the state's My Turn appointment system or by calling the statewide call center at 833-422-4255. The state’s MyTurn platform will have more localized clinic information in the near future
We are excited to finally be at this hopeful stage of the pandemic and look forward to moving together toward brighter days.
Thank you and take care,
